About

Where Signal Trader came from

A tool one trader built to share signals with the people he trusted — and what it became.

Signal Trader's founder wrote software by day and built trading indicators by night. When family and friends asked him what he was trading, there was no good way to share it — so he built a way. Signal Trader started as a way to publish a signal once and deliver it to all of his friends and family.

As he told people about it, he kept meeting the same two reactions. Traders with years of chart study behind them wanted a way to share the signals they already generated — and to be paid for expertise that took years to earn. Everyone else wanted a way into the markets that did not mean living in front of charts. The idea — a place where sharing and following signals creates value on both sides — was too compelling to ignore.

For providers

For those who have sunk years of their life into analyzing charts, understanding markets and developing their own indicators, Signal Trader gives them a way to share the signals they generate and monetize their multi-year efforts.

For subscribers

For those who want to participate in the markets without dedicating their life to them, Signal Trader gives them an avenue that does not require the years of study: subscribe to signals and the app executes each signal in their own broker account.

What the platform will never do

Signal Trader does not rank, endorse, or recommend signals — and it is built so it never can. It publishes what providers deliver, records what actually happened, and gives everyone the tools to judge for themselves.

Todd developed Signal Trader in mid-2026. It is built and operated by Signal Trader LLC.
